A little about me….
I have been a social worker for five years and with the Veterans Administration since December 2009. I graduated with my Undergraduate Degree from Westminster College and my Graduate Degree from the University of Utah. I have lived most my life in the Salt Lake City area. Working mostly in the medical arena, I have seen the vast need for caretaker support resources and thus believe with all my heart in the goal of the Fisher House.
I am inspired by the stories and lives I have come across in my career. Spending much of my own childhood in and out of hospitals is what inspired me to find a way to give back. I am blessed with a family that was there for me every step of the way and now I hope to bless other families as they spend their energy, love, and support caring for their own loved ones. May this home provide your family with healing and comfort. I am living proof that “a family’s love is good medicine!”
