Gardner Village Salutes Veterans

Gardner Village, a historic retail shopping area in West Jordan Utah, is excited to support the Salt Lake City Fisher House, a special home that provides temporary housing for military families while their loved ones receive medical care.

Gardner Village will be collecting donations in all of its retail shops and restaurants June 11th through the 16th. When a customer donates $1 or more, his or her name will be placed on the wall of a store. These funds will go directly to the Salt Lake City Fisher House, and will aid in accommodating America’s military veterans and Active Duty Service members’ families as they experience a time of need when their veteran is ill or injured.

“Here at Gardner Village, we understand the importance of supporting the men and women of our nation’s military,” said Joe Long, CEO at Gardner Village. “These men and women have done an immense amount for our country, and we salute them.”

Those who show a military ID during this week will receive exclusive discounts and specials.

Gardner Village, 1100 West 7800 South, West Jordan, is an early Utah setting of restored buildings converted into retail shops and dining locations, in and around the historic Gardner Mill.

SLC Fisher House Open House….

The new Salt Lake Fisher House extends a warm welcome to our open house/housewarming party on Wednesday, December 21 from 3:00 pm – 7:00 pm. We could not have done it without your support, therefore we would like to extend our thanks by having a private tour and celebration of this amazing Home. Come share in some food and excitement as we celebrate this new addition that the SLC VA is honored and grateful to gain for our Veterans and Military families.

We will be registered at Target and Bed Bath & Beyond under the name Fisher House. You are welcome to bring a gift or donation, however one is not needed to share in this special event. We welcome everyone thru our doors!
